Abou Faour says Lebanon clean of Coronavirus.

NNA - Health Minister Wael Abou Faour on Wednesday called on the Lebanese citizens not to panic, affirming that Lebanon has zero Coronavirus infections.

"The Ministry's adopted procedures and precautions have been, so far, very sufficient since they were being based on strengthening the epidemiological surveillance," Abou Faour said during a press conference held today at the Ministry in presence of the Ministry's General Director, the World Health Organization representative in Lebanon and members of the National Committee for Combating Epidemic.

Abou Faour asserted that samples from suspicious Coronavirus cases were being taken to analysis and all of them turned out to be negative.

Furthermore, he made clear that the WHO did not recommend any additional precautionary measure to what the Ministry has been doing.

He reassured citizens and denied all rumors being circulated on the possibility of the presence of this respiratory syndrome disease in Lebanon, saying that hospitals are very well trained to combat the virus if any contamination case will be present.
