Abbey days as Hugh set for Late Late.

DOWNTON Abbey star Hugh Bonneville will lead the Late Late Show line-up tonight.

The actor will talk about his new documentary Countdown To Calvary, a blow-by-blow account of the last days of Jesus' life.

The Londoner, 54, will explain why he left his theology degree for a TV career, achieving global fame as Lord Grantham in the much-loved Downton.

Former Cork Rose Ruth Carroll will also appear on the show and share her incredible story of triumph over adversity.

Viewers will be treated to music from Bad Wolves, whose cover of The Cranberries' classic Zombie is storming up the charts.

The Late Late Show is on RTE One at 9.35pm.
