Aaron's big break in two London shows.

PERFORMER Aaron Mwale has landed his first big break into professional acting with two parts in London theatre shows.

Aaron, from Holmfirth, will play Gower, the narrator in the Shakespeare play Pericles, at this year's Youth Arts Festival.

And the 24-year-old will also tread the boards in A Company of Strangers - a performance of a dark comedy about lost dreams - on show at the Courtyard Theatre in London from August 30.

Aaron was among a select few to be picked for a prestigious Laurence Olivier bursary by the Society of London Theatre to fund his third year dance and drama course at Guildford School of Acting.

* BIG BREAK: Aaron Mwale, from Holmfirth Aaron has been busy auditioning for shows across the country while finishing his third year of studies.

He said: "It has been a long process but you have to keep on at it and keep positive and believe.

"My whole family are very supportive that I'm following my dream and having belief in myself. You have to believe in yourself and you can do anything if you put your mind to it."
