Insurance provider, AXA SA (CS:FP) has said that it has employed AI bots to take over admin jobs at the firm.

The company said that the bots would take over the more repetitive administration tasks and would allow employees to focus on tasks that are more analytical in nature.

The bot, Harry, was inducted into the workforce in June 2018 and assists the customer-property-claims team. The firm also inducted bots, Bert and Lenny, in the commercial property and liability units, respectively, at the end of last year.

The bots are expected to save more than 18,000 man hours annually.
