 AWT SUBSIDIARY TO PROVIDE UP TO $50 MILLION
 IN ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES TO DADE COUNTY
 WAKEFIELD, Mass., Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Metcalf & Eddy, a subsidiary of Air & Water Technologies Corporation (AMEX: AWT), has been awarded a contract by the Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) with a total potential worth of $50 million. The contract calls for a variety of environmental engineering services for the cleanup of soil, groundwater, and surface water contamination at Metro-Dade County owned/operated facilities.
 The contract is for three years, with two one-year renewal options. Services provided under terms of the agreement include initial remedial actions, contamination assessment plans and reports, remedial action plans, equipment installation, and existing industrial waste system closure.
 According to Joseph L. Boren, AWT South region president, "The contract underscores the commitment of DERM to protect the delicate environment of the region, particularly its water resources. We are pleased to have the opportunity to assist them in these efforts."
