 AWT SUBSIDIARY COMPLETES CONTRACT TO SUPPLY
 NATURAL GAS COMPRESSORS FOR PIPELINE
 BRANCHBURG, N.J., Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- PAMCO, a Residuals Management company and a subsidiary of Air & Water Technologies Corporation (AMEX: AWT), is completing work on three orders from Williams Field Services of Salt Lake City, Utah, to supply engine- driven, clean-burning natural gas compressors. Williams Field Services' orders for more than 20 machines in 1992 have a total value of more than $14 million.
 The compressors will be used by Williams Field Services to boost capacity on its Manzanares coalseam methane gas-gathering system in the San Juan basin of New Mexico. Other PAMCO-supplied compressors -- ordered in 1990 and 1991 -- are aready at work on the natural gas pipeline.
 PAMCO is a member of the Residuals Management group, which develops, uses and acquires new technologies for the reuse and ultimate disposal of waste by-products. Air & Water technologies through its operating units --Metcalf & Eddy, Research-Cottrell, and Residuals Management -- provides a broad range of environmental services and technologies in the areas of water resource management, air pollution control, and waste by- product disposal and reuse. The company's AWT Capital group provides services relating to the financing of environmental facilities and systems.
