AWT SUBSIDIARY AWARDED $7 MILLION CONTRACT TO REBUILD ESP FOR WEYERHAEUSER

 BRANCHBURG, N.J., March 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Research-Cottrell, a subsidiary of Air & Water Technologies Corporation (AMEX: AWT) has been awarded a contract ttrell electrostatic precipitator (ESP) at Weyerhaeuser's Longview, Wash., paper mill. The contract is valued at approximately $7 million.
 Research-Cottrell will rebuild the existing two-chamber recovery boiler ESP, replacing tnts and automated controls. At the same time, the company will design, supply, and erect a new third chamber in parallel. The project will allow Weyerhaeuser to reduce emissions while providing for future increases in plant capacity. The 18-month construction schedule will begin in September 1993.
