AVLS seizes 19 motorcycles, arrests two persons.

LAHORE -- The Anti-Vehicle Lifting Staff (AVLS) Model Town have busted a motorcycle-lifting gang

and arrested its two members, besides recovering stolen motorcycles and illegal weapons from their possession.

DSP AVLS Model Town Saleem Mukhtar Butt led the special police team which conducted a raid and arrested Hassan Masih, the ring-leader, and his accomplice Ali Raza. The police also recovered 19 motorcycles of worth one million rupees and illegal weapons.

During the preliminary interrogation, the gangsters confessed to dozens of incidents of motorcycle lifting, committed in different areas of the city.

SSP Investigation Awais Ahmad has announced commendatory certificates for raiding team.
