 AUTO SHOW CHARITY PREVIEW SET JAN. 10
 DETROIT, Dec. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- One of the highlights of the North


American International Auto Show Charity Preview on Jan. 10 will take place at 8 p.m., when Chrysler Corporation (NYSE: C) executives will welcome Edsel B. Ford II to the Jeep/Eagle Exhibit where he will draw the winning ticket for a 1993 Jeep(R) Grand Cherokee Limited.
 The Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited was donated by the Jeep and Eagle Division of Chrysler Corporation to The Detroit Institute for Children as the prize for their annual fund-raising car raffle. The Institute is also one of the eight charities participating in the Charity Preview.
 "We are excited by this opportunity to raise funds which will be used to provide medical and therapy services to disabled children in our community," said Chrysler Marketing Vice President John B. Damoose. "We are pleased one of the first units of our newest model -- the 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited -- will help the youngsters served by The Detroit Institute for Children."
 Representing Chrysler Corporation will be Damoose, L.W. Baker, general manager of Jeep and Eagle Division and E.M. Coughlin, manager of Jeep and Eagle Merchandising.
 This year's Auto Show Charity Preview will take place from 7-9 p.m. Jan. 10 at the Cobo Conference/Exhibition Center in Detroit. There will be a party in the concourse of Cobo Center preceding the Charity Preview from 6:15-7 p.m. Festivities will include the arrival of the stars of the nationally televised Charity Preview, including Robert Urich and Anita Baker.
 Tickets for the 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited drawing are $100 each and are available by calling the Detroit Institute for Children at 313-832-1100, Ext. 205, or at the Charity Preview. Tickets for the Charity Preview, at $125 per person, are also available from the Institute.
 The Detroit Institute for Children is a United Way agency specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of youngsters who have developmental disabilities.
 In addition to the Institute, the following charities are participating in the Charity Preview: Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan; Children's Center; Children's Service of Northeast Guidance Center Assistance League; Detroit Police Athletic League; Easter Seal Society - Wayne, Oakland, Macomb; March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation; and Barat Human Services.
