AUTO INDUSTRY LEADERS TO ADDRESS AUTO ISSUES OF THE '90S

 DETROIT, Jan. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert Eaton, vice chairman, Chrysler Corporation and over 25 other automotive executives and experts are scheduled to speak at the 17th Automotive News World Congress Jan. 10-13 in Detroit. The conference will be held at the Westin Hotel and is co-sponsored by Automotive News, a publication of Crain Communications and the University of Michigan Office for the Study of Automotive Transportation (OSAT).
 Heinz Prechter, chairman, American Sunroof Corporation, will speak at 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 10. Eaton will speak at 8:30 that evening.
 Other speakers include Owen Bieber, president, United Auto Workers; William S. Kelly, president and chief executive officer, Saab Cars U.S.A., Inc; Yale Gieszl, executive vice president for Sales & Operations, Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc.; William Hoglund, executive vice president and CFO, General Motors Corporation; Michael N. Bassermann, president & CEO, Mercedes-Benz of North America Inc.; and Thomas C. Gale, vice president, Product Design & general manager, Minivan Operations, Chrysler Corporation.
