AUSTRIAN AIRLINES AWARDS WICAT CBT SYSTEM CONTRACT

AUSTRIAN AIRLINES AWARDS WICAT CBT SYSTEM CONTRACT
OREM, Utah, March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Wicat Systems Inc.

(NASDAQ: WCAT) today announced that Austrian Airlines (Vienna, Austria) has selected Wicat to provide a computer-based training (CBT) system for flight crew training. The training system will deliver Wicat's Piper Cheyenne IIIA Flight courseware to Austrian's student pilots as well as other types of aviation transition training in the future.
Under terms of the agreement, Wicat will install a Wicat 2255 file server and six WITS 4000 workstations with 19-inch monitors as well as Wicat's Piper Cheyenne IIIA Flight courseware at Austrian's training school at the Vienna International Airport.
Austrian's director of flight training, Dr. Hellfried Aubauer, commented, "Wicat was chosen after extensive evaluation of courseware available for the Piper Cheyenne IIIA. Wicat's courseware is highly interactive and utilizes extensive digitized audio and interactive video. This courseware is of the highest quality, and this fact - combined with the excellent reputation Wicat has with the other members of the Quality Alliance (such as SAS, Swissair, etc.) - was the reason for selecting Wicat."
Wicat's European customer airlines include Air France, British Caledonian Flight Training, Alitalia, Crossair, Finnair, Iberia, KLM, SAS, Sabena, Swissair, and Linjeflyg.
Wicat Systems is a world leader in technology-based training and provides products and services to significantly improve learning in industries, military, government, and schools. Wicat stock is traded in the NASDAQ market under the symbol WCAT.
