AUSTRIAN AIRLINES AWARDS WICAT CBT SYSTEM CONTRACT OREM, Utah, March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Wicat Systems Inc.
(NASDAQ: WCAT) today announced that Austrian Airlines (Vienna, Austria) has selected Wicat to provide a computer-based training (CBT) system for flight crew training. The training system will deliver Wicat's Piper Cheyenne IIIA Flight courseware to Austrian's student pilots as well as other types of aviation transition training in the future.
Under terms of the agreement, Wicat will install a Wicat 2255 file server and six WITS 4000 workstations with 19-inch monitors as well as Wicat's Piper Cheyenne IIIA Flight courseware at Austrian's training school at the Vienna International Airport. Austrian's director of flight training, Dr. Hellfried Aubauer, commented, "Wicat was chosen after extensive evaluation of courseware available for the Piper Cheyenne IIIA. Wicat's courseware is highly interactive and utilizes extensive digitized audio and interactive video.
