AURORA INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES 'WORLD CLASS SALES & MARKETING TECHNIQUES FOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS SUCCESS' PROGRAM

GREENSBORO, N.C., Nov. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Aurora International announced a program "World Class Sales & Marketing Techniques for International Business Success" to be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Greensboro on Nov. 17 from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
"This is the first international sales and marketing workshop of its type ever to be held in North Carolina," stated Steve B. Stevenson, seminar leader and president of Aurora International. He added: "Too often companies pursuing international markets and seeking training or guidance either have no place to turn to or are referred from one government agency to another. Companies' needs often do not fit neatly into one government program or another. Firms seek the type of practical experience and tips which will help them become more successful."
Among other program topics include: adapting to the changing international business environment, effective cross-cultural communications, alternative means of penetrating foreign markets, new marketing research techniques, prioritizing markets, pricing philosophy and other elements of the international marketing mix. Personnel issues and how to put together and implement an international marketing plan will be presented.
Stevenson is well suited to develop and deliver this international training seminar. His more than 20 years of successful international business experience include opening North Carolina's European trade office in 1974. He has won sales and marketing awards as top salesman in key international positions for a Fortune 100 company and a Forbes magazine "Up and Comer." He has sold products in more than 140 countries and conducted business in three languages. "Much of what I have learned and we teach at our programs has been developed from being on the international firing line, in the office and in the field," stated Stevenson.
Stevenson earned a Masters in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management, also known as the Thunderbird School, and has been a visiting lecturer of international business. He has presented numerous international in-house and public business programs for successful companies.
The program is ideally suited for manufacturing and service companies contemplating entering foreign markets or for those who have some experience and wish to gain further training to avoid costly mistakes and ensure success abroad.
The cost of the six-hour program is $129 which includes tuition, luncheon and program materials. For further information and to register, please telephone 919-362-0043.
