 AUGUST F. PERCOCO NAMED PRESIDENT OF LABORATORY RESOURCES
 HARRINGTON PARK, N.J., June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- August F. Percoco, 44, has been named president of Laboratory Resources, Inc., a network of environmental testing laboratories which is a subsidiary of United Water Resources (NYSE: UWR). Percoco succeeds Dennis Dugan, 45, who was recently elected executive vice president of the parent company.
 "August Percoco's excellent managerial skills and leadership capabilities combined with his strong work ethic make him extremely well qualified to assume the leadership of Laboratory Resources," said Donald L. Correll, president of United Water Resources. "By consistently establishing and achieving high standards of quality and service, Percoco has strengthened the marketplace position of our laboratory network, which currently serves clients in 12 states. I am confident that the laboratory's record of accomplishments will continue to grow under his direction."
 Percoco joined Laboratory Resources in 1990 as director of sales and was promoted to positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he was senior vice president and chief operating officer for the company.
 Prior to joining Laboratory Resources, Percoco was with The BOC Group, Inc. Earlier, he was employed by Home Life Insurance Company and Travelers Insurance Company.
 Percoco earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Brooklyn College and an associates degree in business administration from Staten Island Community College. He is a member of the Optimist Club International, the U.S. Jaycees and he also volunteers as a Little League and Special Olympics coach. He resides in Califon, N.J., with his wife and two children.
 Laboratory Resources performs a variety of analyses in the environmental, food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical fields through a network of commercial laboratories. The company has locations in East Brunswick, N.J., Brooklyn, Conn., Bethlehem, Pa., and Westwood, N.J., the corporate headquarters, which will soon be relocating to Teterboro, N.J.
