AUDIOSCIENCE ANNOUNCES CLINICAL TESTING MINNETONKA, Minn., May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- AudioScience, Inc.
(NASDAQ: AUDS) announced today that it has begun clinical trials on its PRIZM(TM) Hearing System with hearing impaired individuals. The company had previously successfully completed the testing of the devices with its non-hearing impaired employees, to prove feasibility of various technical aspects of the devices.
AudioScience, Inc. is a development-stage company which has designed and developed, and intends to manufacture and market, a technologically advanced hearing instrument system under the trademark PRIZM. The PRIZM Hearing System consists of a hearing aid and a dual purpose PRIZM Remote control. For the dispenser, the remote control becomes the programming tool for customizing the hearing system, when a special dispenser's key is inserted.
