AUDI PRESENTS THE 1992 AUDI 100 TO LUXURY CAR OWNERS AT NEW HEADQUARTERS
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Audi will introduce the all-new 1992 Audi 100 Sedan to hundreds of area Audi and competitive make owners at its new corporate headquarters in Auburn Hills on Sunday, Nov. 24.
Called the Audi Reunion, the participants, including BMW, Mercedes and Acura Legend owners, will have an opportunity to preview the 100 in a relaxed environment outside of the traditional dealer showroom setting.
The "Reunion," which will be hosted by the Audi Central Zone office and Metro Detroit Audi dealers, is one of several events being conducted across the country to augment the car's national introduction in September. It will run from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
This is the second Audi Reunion held by the Zone. The first "Reunion" was staged in Chicago last month, where more than 200 Audi owners participated.
"The new 100 is a very special car for Audi," said Harry Hartman, Audi Central Zone manager. "It is the first car introduced in the relaunch of the company as a new franchise in the U.S., and we want to debut it in the most comprehensive way possible."
Hartman added, "The 100 was so well-received at our first Audi Reunion that we decided to invite competitive car owners to the preview. We believe they will be impressed as well."
At the event, owners will have an opportunity to test drive the new 100, tour the facility and talk with local dealers and Audi personnel.
"We feel that acquainting owners with the people and organization behind this car is an important part of presenting it," said Hartman. "This kind of open house event serves as the perfect venue in that regard."
The Central Zone plans to hold additional Audi Reunions in its midwestern markets this spring.
The Audi Central Zone office, located in suburban Chicago, serves 13 midwestern states, including Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska.
