 ATU, TRI-MET REACH TENTATIVE ACCORD
 PORTLAND, Ore., Feb. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Following four months of


negotiations, The Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 757 has reached a tentative two-year labor agreement with Tri-Met, ATU said today.
 The agreement now goes to the union's general membership for ratification during the next two weeks. Ron Heintzman, the union's business representative, predicts that the accord will be overwhelmingly approved by the membership.
 Details of the agreement are being withheld pending ratification.
