 ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., Aug. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Following is an update


of the Ocean Water Quality Index -- for Atlantic City only -- for the week of Aug. 20-26, as determined by the Atlantic County Health Department (see footnote A for updated information).

 Average Bacteria Count is based on water samples collected and tested weekly by the Atlantic County and Atlantic City health departments. The count reflects the number of fecal coliform colonies per 100 milliliters of water.
