ATLANTA ARRANGEMENTS BY TOURGALS EXPANDS CREATIVE STAFF
ATLANTA, Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Atlanta Arrangements by TourGals, a subsidiary of Norrell Services, Inc., has expanded its creative staff with the addition of three hospitality industry veterans, according to Executive Director Pam Thompson.
Clayton Whitehead, a 10-year professional in the Georgia hospitality industry, has joined the firm as client services manager while Paul Gillis, with almost a decade of specialization in group/convention transportation services, has been named director of client services. In addition, Joy Nicholson comes to Atlanta Arrangements as creative services manager.
Atlanta Arrangements by TourGals is Atlanta's first and leading destination management and meeting services firm. For example, Atlanta Arrangements by TourGals programmed and directed all of the transportation, spouse and children programs and many of the evening functions for last month's meeting of the American Society of Association Executives in Atlanta.
Whitehead has been involved in the hospitality industry since his college days at the University of Georgia where he was a member of the nationally acclaimed Red Coat Band while spending his summers performing at Six Flags. Upon graduation, he worked on the staff of the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau for five years before joining the public relations staff at Stone Mountain Park where he directed countless and varied special projects.
Gillis, a 1978 graduate of North Carolina State University, began his business career as an account executive with Enterprise Leasing in Atlanta and moved to Sun Belt Transportation in 1984. In 1988, he was appointed director of sales with Executive Transportation and prior to his current association with Atlanta Arrangements by TourGals, he was sales manager of the Atlanta Airport Shuttle.
Nicholson graduated in May from Berry College with a B.A. in communications. During college she interned with the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and the Rome Convention and Visitors Bureau.
