ATG TO SUPPORT ORACLE9I APP SERVER.

ATG (Art Technology Group, Inc., Nasdaq: ARTG), provider of an e-business software platform and applications for e-commerce, relationship management, and portals, recently announced its plans to support the deployment of the ATG Dynamo e-Business Platform and its enterprise applications on the Oracle9i Application Server in 2002. Market demand and synergies between the companies' products and sales channels will create a larger customer base for ATG Dynamo personalized applications and e-business platform, while reaping high performance benefits of Oracle9iAS.

The lightweight footprint J2EE engine of Oracle9iAS will provide a scalable and reliable solution for mission-critical applications that run on the ATG Dynamo e-Business Platform, including personalized e-commerce, eCRM, and portal applications. Built-in Web page caching, load balancing, business intelligence features, and tight integration with Oracle databases are offered by Oracle9iAS. Support for Oracle9iAS will enable ATG to offer a broader customer base a complete, end-to-end deployment and management platform for e-business initiatives that power the frontline of their e-businesses.
