ATC-1 acquits four people.

MULTAN -- Anti Terrorism Court-1 acquitted four persons who were charged with allegation of throwing acid on a man.

A case was registered against Riaz Hussain, Mohammad Aslam, Mohammad Atif and Mohammad Yaqub for allegedly throwing acid on Akhtar Hussain of Dunyapur on August 11, 2017 in the limits of Police Station Jalla Aaraen .

The prosecution was of the view that Akhtar had domestic issues with Riaz Hussain and the later in fit of rage had thrown acid on Akhtar with help of his companions. However, the prosecution remained failed to bring solid evidences before the court. To which, the court, while giving the benefit of the doubt, ordered for the acquittal of four persons.
