US communications holding company AT&T (NYSE:T) announced on Tuesday the availability of the Nokia Lumia 925 smartphone on 13 September 2013, with pre-orders beginning on Wednesday at

At the launch of this smartphone, only AT&T customers will be able to pick up the exclusive black version of Nokia Lumia 925.

This lightweight Windows Phone, the first Lumia smartphone to feature metal design detail, has a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ display made with Gorilla Glass and runs on AT&T's 4G LTE network. It also features an 8.7-megapixel PureView camera sensor includes Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), advanced Carl Zeiss optics, six lenses and a dedicated camera button, amongst other cameras functions.

Running on Windows Phone 8, the Nokia Lumia 925 features unique Live Tiles providing near real-time updates on the people and things that matter most. Also, the Windows Phone Store offers over 170,000 apps, with additional apps such as Flipboard, Path and Vine are becoming available soon.

The Nokia Lumia 925 will be available for USD21 per month with AT&T Next or USD99.99 with a two-year agreement.

AT&T Next is a new programme launched by the company that enables customers to get a new device every year.
