US communications holding company AT&T (NYSE:T) announced on Friday the activation of six new mobile broadband cell sites in Darke county,

These new cell sites will reportedly enhance mobile broadband coverage for customers in the cities of Greenville, Bradford and Pitsburg.

The company said that the new cell sites are a part of its ongoing investment in local wireless network and also a part of its continuing network investment to support growing demand for advanced mobile devices and applications.

AT&T has reportedly invested over USD200m in its Ohio wireless and wireline networks in the first half of 2011.
