 AT&T REDUCES IN-STATE CALLING PRICES TODAY
 DENVER, Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T today reduced prices for long


distance calls between area codes in Colorado by an average of 9.5 percent.
 Lola Staggs, AT&T assistant vice president, Denver, said the reductions include calls made during the day and evening rate periods.
 With today's price reduction, the cost of a 5-minute, direct-dialed call between Denver and Colorado Springs during the day dropped to $1.29 from $1.40. During the evening rate period, a similar call will cost $1.05; down from $1.19. Prices vary depending on time of day and distance.
 In addition, Staggs said, intrastate prices are being reduced for several business services. Included are WATS, 800 Service, PRO WATS, All PRO WATS, Megacom WATS, Megacom 800, Software Defined Network and 800 Readyline services.
 "These price reductions demonstrate just how competitive the Colorado long distance market has become," she said.
