 AT&T CALLS TWO DEBT ISSUES FOR REDEMPTION
 NEW YORK, July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T (NYSE: T) said today it is


calling two debt issues totaling $500 million for early redemption. The two issues, both to be redeemed on Aug. 28, 1992, are:
 -- $250 million of 5-5/8 percent debentures that were issued Aug. 1, 1966, and are due to mature Aug. 1, 1995.
 -- $250 million of 4-3/4 percent debentures that were issued Nov. 1, 1960, and are due Nov. 1, 1992.
 Both issues are to be redeemed at 100 percent of face value plus accrued interest. The redemptions, to be managed by First National Bank of Chicago, are part of AT&T's effort to actively manage its debt portfolio in light of recent declines in interest rates.
