 AT&T ANNOUNCES AGREEMENTS FOR BUSINESS LONG-DISTANCE SERVICES
 DENVER, April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T (NYSE: T) today said it has won $120.35 million in agreements nationwide for business long- distance services.
 Two of those companies are located in Denver: Manville Corp. and Farm Credit Council.
 "This is a strong vote of confidence by some of the best organizations," said Joseph Nacchio, president of AT&T's Business Communications Services unit. "Customers are sending us a message that they prefer our network quality and reliability and appreciate our efforts to tailor solutions to their individual needs."
 The agreements from across the United States and Canada call for a range of AT&T services for airline, hotel and car rental reservation centers, telemarketing and ship-to-shore communications. The following is a list of the agreements:
 -- Manville Corp. of Denver -- Agreement for AT&T Software Defined Network Service worth $3 million per year.
 -- Farm Credit Council -- A four-year $2.5 million agreement for AT&T Software Defined Network Service. Banks included are Farm Credit Bank of Omaha, Farm Credit Bank of Texas, Agribank FCB of St. Paul, Farm Credit Bank of Columbia, Farm Credit Bank of Baltimore, Farm Credit Bank of Wichita, CoBank National Bank for Cooperatives in Denver, and Federal Credit Banks Funding Corp.
 -- Southwest Airlines of Dallas -- A three-year agreement for AT&T Megacom(R) 800 Service worth $30 million to supply service at reservation centers. Calls to 800-I-FLY-SWA will be automatically routed to available agents in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio or Phoenix.
 -- GEICO Corp. of Washington, D.C. -- A three-year agreement for AT&T Megacom 800 Service worth $21 million.
 -- Holiday Inn Worldwide of Atlanta -- A three-year agreement for AT&T Megacom 800 Service in support of reservations centers, totaling $21 million. This will allow the company to better handle reservations for more than 300,000 hotel rooms worldwide.
 -- ITN of Toronto -- A five-year agreement worth $7.5 million for AT&T Software Defined Network Service.
 -- Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Mass. -- A four-year agreement for AT&T College Connect(SM) Calling Service worth $7 million.
 -- Agency Rent-A-Car of Solon, Ohio -- A four-year agreement for AT&T Software Defined Network Service linking 700 locations worth $5.2 million.
 -- Windsor Eastman Group of Alexandria, Va. -- A five-year agreement worth $5 million for AT&T Megacom WATS Service.
 -- Sensormatic Electronics of Deerfield Beach, Fla. -- A four-year agreement worth $4 million for AT&T Software Defined Network. Sensormatic is the world leader in loss-prevention technology. The service will handle all domestic long distance service, including Sensormatic's subsidiaries.
 -- Kloster Cruise of Coral Gables, Fla. -- A three-year agreement worth $4 million for Megacom WATS Service for making passenger, crew, and administrative calls between ship and shore.
 -- University of Miami -- A three-year agreement worth $2.4 million for AT&T College Connect Calling Service.
 -- Interface of La Grange, Ga. -- A four-year agreement worth $2.1 million for AT&T Software Defined Network Service. The company manufactures carpet, tiles, interior fabrics, chemicals and offers Intersept(R) (antimicrobial chemical) under a licensing program.
 -- Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. -- A four-year agreement for AT&T Software Defined Network Service for all university locations worth $2 million.
 -- Cruiseship Services and Supply of Miami -- $1.9 million per year in AT&T Megacom WATS Service. Cruiseship Services and Supply Corp. provides services to crew members of ships when they are in port.
 -- American Lung Association of New York -- An estimated $1 million for AT&T 800 Readyline(R) Service in support of the National Clean Air bike-a-thon in May.
 -- Cypress Semiconductor of Irvine, Calif. -- A one-year agreement for AT&T Optimum(SM) Service worth $750,000.
