AT&T AND HARRIS SIGN INTERNATIONAL MARKETING AGREEMENT

 SAN CARLOS, Calif., July 12 /PRNewswire/ -- In an effort to help expand their worldwide communication markets, AT&T (NYSE: T) and Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS) have signed a multi-year, multi-million dollar agreement to sell digital radios internationally.
 AT&T Network Systems and Harris' Farinon Division, headquartered in San Carlos, Calif., signed the agreement for AT&T to market Harris' QUADRALINK digital radios. AT&T has already integrated the radios into several international communication networks.
 Harris' QUADRALINK digital radios are used in networks to interconnect facilities with digital transmission systems. The high- performance radios are typically used in networks for telephone and cellular companies, utilities and railroads. They feature a compact design, broad range of capacities and frequency bands, and require minimal routine maintenance.
 "This agreement plays a key role in Harris Farinon's strategy to grow our communications business internationally. It will open the door to opportunities for other Harris Farinon products as well," said Joel Third, manager of special projects for Farinon. "We believe this is the beginning of a very effective partnership with AT&T."
