AT&T AND ATTN ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP

 WASHINGTON, Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T (NYSE: T) and The American Transportation Television Network Inc. ("ATTN") announced a strategic partnership that makes AT&T the exclusive advertiser for telecommunication products to America's professional truck drivers.
 This contract gives AT&T the opportunity to reach more than 3,000,000 long-haul drivers through the "Trucker's Television" network.
 AT&T presently holds a major share of the American calling card market and views ATTN as an effective way to enhance recognition of its products with drivers.
 AT&T will have its messages "air adjacent" to important traffic and weather reports that are produced three times each hour. Currently, ATTN produces six hours of news and information specifically designed for truckers. There are 18 weather and traffic segments in the current programming day.
 AT&T joins numerous other ATTN advertisers, including Cummins engines; W.H. Froh; No Doz (Bristol Myers); Alka-Seltzer (Miles) and Igloo Coolers.
 The strategic partnership has been designed such that it will enable AT&T to participate in the growth of the ATTN network and maintain an exclusive position in the years to come.
