AT&T, PETRO STOPPING CENTERS OFFER FREE SEMINARS
 TO COMMERCIAL TRUCK DRIVERS
COLUMBIA, S.C., Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T and Petro Stopping Centers are offering commercial truck drivers free seminars to help them prepare for state driving test which they must pass by April 1.
The Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Seminars will be held at Petro locations throughout the United States from January through mid-March.
The Commercial Motor Vehicle Safety Act of 1986 mandated that commercial truck drivers must pass their state commercial driving test and be licensed by April 1, 1992.
"Offering the Commercial Drivers License Seminars at no charge is a team effort between two organizations (AT&T and Petro) who understand how important truckers are to our country's success," stated Jim Cardwell, president, Petro Stopping Centers. "Truckers move America. We depend on them. Anything we can do to help them be more successful -- and these seminars certainly qualify -- we're interested in doing."
The Commercial Drivers License Seminars are being delivered by DriveSafe Commercial, Inc. of Alexandria, Va. For more information about specific locations and times of upcoming seminars, please call 800-258-0368.
