ASUR reports 37.5% increase in total passenger traffic.


Mexico's Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste SAB de CV (NYSE: ASR; BMV: ASUR) has reported its passenger traffic for January 2007.

The company said that the total passenger traffic for the month increased by 37.5% compared to January 2006.

ASUR also said that ongoing public demonstrations in the city of Oaxaca have adversely affected tourism in the area and the United States State Department has issued an advisory regarding travel to Oaxaca.
