ASTROTECH INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION

PITTSBURGH, May 10 /PRNewswire/ -- S. Kent Rockwell, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Astrotech International Corporation (AMEX: AIX) today announced that Astrotech reported net income of $162,000 on revenues of $9.4 million for the second fiscal quarter ended March 31, 1993. Mr. Rockwell said that "revenues in our second quarter, which is seasonally our slowest quarter, were down from the prior year and flat with the previous quarter. We anticipate continued improvement in operating results through the balance of the calendar year."

This compares with net income per common share, assuming full dilution, of $0.07 and $0.24 for the comparable periods of fiscal 1992.
