ASTM International.

ASTM International, West Conshohocken, PA, has announced the recipients of two prestigious awards. John S. Snodgrass has been given the Francis L. LaQue Memorial Award for his contributions to the ASTM International Committee G01 on Corrosion of Metals and to the field of corrosion testing and evaluation in general. Now retired, Mr. Snodgrass was a senior staff corrosion engineer at Alcoa. He has been a member of ASTM International since 1984.

Charles H. Bucknam has received the H.V. Churchill Award from the ASTM International Committee on Analytical Chemistry, Ores, and Related Materials for his meritorious service to the committee. Mr. Bucknam is manager, analytical development for Newmont Metallurgical Services. He has been a member of ASTM International since 1986.
