 ASSIGNMENT OF DONALD T. SULLIVAN TO ISUZU MOTORS
 ANNOUNCED BY GM VICE PRESIDENT
 DETROIT, Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The assignment of Donald T. Sullivan to Isuzu Motors Ltd., of Tokyo, Japan, was announced today by Thomas S. McDaniel, GM vice president in charge of Asian and Pacific Operations. Sullivan has been group director, strategic planning, of GM's Chevrolet-Pontiac-Canada Group since 1989.
 Effective Feb. 1, 1992, Sullivan will become an executive vice president of Isuzu with responsibility for corporate planning, manufacturing and engineering activities. Reporting to the president of Isuzu, he will be nominated for election as a director at the company's annual shareholder meeting Jan. 30, 1992.
 Sullivan is also named an executive vice president of GM Overseas Corporation.
 Sullivan joined General Motors in 1965 as a statistical analyst at Chevrolet Motor Division. In 1969, he was transferred to the product planning department where he held several assignments before being named manager, advance product planning in 1974, and assistant director, passenger car planning in 1975.
 Sullivan moved to Buick in 1976 as manager, product planning, and in 1981, headed the division's customer satisfaction core group. In 1982, he was assigned a variety of strategic business planning projects for Buick and General Motors prior to being named assistant program manager for the Buick City vehicle assembly project in 1983, and director of planning for Chevrolet in 1984.
 In 1987, he moved to Zurich, Switzerland, to become vice president, planning, for GM Europe, returning to the U.S. in 1989 as group director, strategic planning, with the CPC Group.
 A native of Detroit, Sullivan graduated from Wayne State University in 1968 with a bachelor's degree in marketing and management. He received an MBA from the University of Detroit in 1971 and attended executive programs at Columbia University and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
