According to ASMP Executive Director Eugene Mopsik, "ASMP has been honored to work with CEPIC on this unique event. We believe that "Photocentric Day" will foster important dialogue and encourage future partnerships among participants."

The program will begin with a Keynote Presentation by award-winning photojournalist Jonathan Torgovnik. The day's schedule also includes:
* Does the Content Provider Still Need the Traditional Stock Distributor to Make a Profit?
* A two-part program: Moving into the Future, Part 1: A Discussion on Content Creators and Distributors Partnering for Mutual Benefit and Part 2: What We Can Learn from Other Industries
* An Update on Legal and Legislative Copyright Issues in the US and Europe
* Interactive Portfolio Review during whichphotographers will be asked to put forward a selection of imagery which will be critiqued live with questions and debate from the audience, giving them the opportunity to learn from and challenge some of the best European Editors.

CEPIC stands for the Coordination of European Picture Agencies Stock, Press and Heritage.
