QI have had this rubber plant for many years and it has been on the windowsill.

When it started to get heavy I put a stick in to hold it up but now it is starting to overbalance.

What is the best way to try and straighten it up again? I have put it into a slightly bigger pot but it is very strong and I don't think it will ever get perfectly straight now.

The windowsill is not wide enough to be able to use a much bigger pot.

Mrs B Collar A Your rubber plant is certainly in robust health - look at those glossy large leaves!

It has outgrown its pot and your intervention with the support may have been too late.

You could prune it back to around half its size, repot (though it won't fit on your windowsill any more) and tie in firmly, perhaps using two stakes, but it doesn't look as if you will ever get it completely straight.
