ASK ANNA: WHY IS SHE COLD NOW?

QI'M 50 and I recently went on a blind date with a woman about the same age as myself.

The conversation and the evening were great. She complimented me on my good manners, voice and dress sense.

We went out again and had another pleasant evening two nights later. The lady seemed keen to go to a forthcoming event with me so, two days later, I rang her. She told me she didn't want to see me and wanted some 'breathing space'. Why do women do this to men?
