 ARTISOFT ANNOUNCES SECONDARY STOCK OFFERING
 TUCSON, Ariz., Feb. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Artisoft Inc. (NASDAQ: ASFT)


today announced a secondary public offering of 1,500,000 shares of its common stock. The stock, which is priced at $31.50 per share, was sold by an underwriting group consisting of Alex, Brown & Sons, Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. and Montgomery Securities. The stock is presently outstanding and proceeds of the sale will go to the selling stockholders.
 Artisoft Inc. develops, manufactures and distributes software and hardware products for local area networks of IBM personal computers and compatibles. The company's initial public offering of common stock was in September 1991 when 5 million shares were sold. There are now approximately 17,141,400 shares outstanding.
