ARROW INTERNATIONAL ELECTS GEORGE W. EBRIGHT AS A DIRECTOR

 READING, Pa., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- At its Oct. 20, 1993, meeting the Arrow International, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: ARRO) board of directors elected George W. Ebright as a director for a term expiring in January 1996.
 Ebright, 55, is currently serving as chairman of the board of Cytogen Corporation, a biotechnology company located in Princeton, N.J. He joined Cytogen in 1989 as chairman and chief executive officer to provide experienced leadership as the company moved from the early research stage toward introduction of commercial products.
 Prior to joining Cytogen, Ebright was president and chief operating officer and a member of the board of directors of SmithKline Beckman Corporation, a health care and life services company engaged in the marketing of a broad line of prescription and proprietary products for human and animal health care, as well as diagnostic and analytical products and services. Ebright began working for Smith Kline & French Laboratories in 1963, and through 1987 held several senior management positions with that company and two of its divisions.
