ARMSTRONG WORLD INDUSTRIES ISSUES ANNOUNCEMENT

 LANCASTER, Pa., Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Armstrong World Industries, Inc. (NYSE: ACK) was informed today that the U.S. Supreme Court has denied its appeals petition in the Fineman (TINS) vs. Armstrong litigation.
 The case will now be remanded by the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia to the U.S. District Court in Newark for the scheduling of a new trial.
