ARISTA TO REISSUE CARLY SIMON'S 'MY ROMANCE' ALBUM DUE TO DEMAND

NEW YORK, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Carly Simon's 1990 album "My Romance" is being rereleased by Arista Records due to the overwhelming demand for Simon's renditions of classic songs, two of which are featured on the "Sleepless in Seattle" soundtracks. The original "Sleepless in Seattle" soundtrack features Simon's stellar version of "In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning." Now "Sleepless in Seattle II" will feature two Simon tracks: "My Funny Valentine," also featured on "My Romance," and "Mockingbird" with James Taylor.
Simon's musical visibility has been high as of late as she is also featured on the Sinatra "Duets" album with her contribution of "Guess I'll Hang My Tears Out to Dry"/"In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning." Her much-heralded children's opera "Ramolus Hunt" was released this week. Simon is currently at work on her forthcoming Arista album, set for release in spring of 1994.
