 NEW YORK, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- On Nov. 10, Arista Records will release "Barry Manilow: The Complete Collection And Then Some ... ," a four CD/cassette boxed set chronicling the pop superstar's career. The lavish set will include many of Manilow's 25 consecutive top-40 hits, 30 previously unreleased tracks including the first single, "Another Life," released Oct. 5.
 Among the 25 top-40 hits of the "No. 1 AC Artist of All Time" included in the set are "I Write The Songs," "Even Now," "Weekend in New England," "Looks Like We Made It," "Copacabana," "I Made It Through The Rain" and "Somewhere In The Night."
 Also included in the collection is "Let Me Be Your Wings," a new song co-written by Manilow, Bruce Sussman and Jack Feldman for the upcoming Don Bluth animated feature film "Thumbelina." Other unreleased material includes the original first take of "Mandy" (where Manilow accidentally sings the original lyric, "Brandy"), his performance opening the second act of Bette Midler's 1972 Carnegie Hall concert and a live excerpt from his latest "SHOWSTOPPERS" tour.
 In the "Barry Manilow: The Complete Collection And Then Some ... ," collector's book, Rolling Stone reporter Bill Zeheme writes of those in the public eye who have cited Manilow as an influence. "Axl Rose has spoken of listening to 'Mandy' in private reverie as a troubled teen. Eddie Van Halen has said he envies Manilow's songwriting talent." The book also captures the special story of Manilow's career with insight from Clive Davis and Manilow himself.
 Other "Barry Manilow: The Complete Collection And Then Some ... " highlights include:
 -- "I Made It Through The Rain" -- a previously unreleased take of the original lyrics which tell the story of a struggling musician;
 -- "Copacabana" -- a home recording of Manilow writing the hit;
 -- "I Am Your Child" -- a previously unreleased 1973 live performance at New York's Continental Baths;
 -- "The Last Duet" -- recorded with Lily Tomlin spoofing duets;
 -- "Even Now" -- a previously unreleased 1983 live performance in Tokyo;
 -- "The Best of Me" -- a new song written by Richard Marx, Jeremy Lubbock and David Foster; and
 -- "If Tomorrow Never Comes" -- a new song written by Garth Brooks.
 "Barry Manilow: The Complete Collection And Then Some ... " not only recaps the remarkable career of popular music's all-time superstar, but is a treasure-house of rare and previously unreleased material that will delight fans and confirm the impact of Barry Manilow's talents as songwriter, producer, arranger and performer on today's music scene.
