ARC names new VP, general counsel.

Airlines Reporting Corp. said it has chosen Ann J. Bruder as vice president and general counsel.

As a member of the ARC executive team, she will advise senior leadership in an array of issues and lead the company's internal legal department. Bruder, who replaces retired general counsel Kathi O'Neill, will begin her tenure at ARC later this month.

A 25-year legal veteran, Bruder began her career as an attorney at the law firm of Thompson Coburn LLP in St. Louis, Missouri. She then moved to the former Continental Airlines, Inc., now United Airlines, Inc., and then American Airlines as its corporate and international counsel. Presently, she is president of Global Strategic Services, LLC, a provider of strategic corporate, legal and advisory services to multinational corporations.

ARC powers the US-based travel industry with premier business solutions, travel agency accreditation services, process and financial management tools, and powerful data analytics. In 2014, ARC settled USD89.6 billion worth of carrier ticket transactions for more than 9,400 travel agencies with 13,000 points of sale.
