ARABS-UN - July 22 - Verification Of Border Violations Over.

Lebanese and UN officials end a mission to verify whether Israel has rectified violations to the Lebanese border. A Lebanese officer says their report would be discussed next week by the Beirut government and UN special envoy Larsen. (Israeli forces withdrew from most of the Lebanese territory, but Lebanon says they still infringe the border. Certification that Israel has stopped encroachments into Lebanese territory will open the way for UN peacekeepers in southern Lebanon to deploy up to the border itself.)
