AQUA ROYALE, INC. ACQUIRES NEW MICROCRYSTAL TECHNOLOGY AND WILL CHANGE ITS NAME TO MICROPOLY INC.
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Aqua Royale, Inc., has announced that it is acquiring an exclusive sub-license to valuable process technology for making several types of microcrystals from long chain molecular polymers. The microcrystals may be made from waste or off-spec polymer materials, some of which are otherwise non-biodegradable, and can be utilized in a water base eliminating the use of toxic solvents. A change in the company's name to Micropoly Inc. will be approved by the Board of Directors on closing, expected to occur within 10 days. The technology has been developed by Dr. O.A. Battista, a well known research scientist and prolific inventor, and represents many years of research and development work. He is known worldwide as the "Father of Microcrystal Polymer Science." Dr. Battista will serve as Senior Vice President, Science and Technology and will become a member of the Board of Directors. The market opportunities for this technology are viewed as quite considerable. Initial funding is being arranged.
