AQM Solutions Features Mainframe Tuning Products at 2007 SHARE Conference.

TAMPA, Fla. -- AQM Solutions Inc.(, a TRILOGexpert company that provides automated application quality and performance management, will exhibit and demonstrate its mainframe performance optimization solutions at the 2007 SHARE Technology Exchange, held during the SHARE User Events, booth #102, February 12 to 14, in Tampa, Florida.

"Mainframe applications are a mainstay at many businesses and government entities--by some estimates more than 70% continue to run critical applications on mainframes--but until recently, the tools weren't available to truly optimize mainframe performance," said Osman Aykut, Chief Technology Officer of TRILOGexpert and Director of AQM Solutions Inc. "We are dedicated to making the mainframe a performance leader and helping our customers detect more application performance defects, recover more mainframe processing resources and reduce mainframe capacity growth."

Industry analysts report increased use of critical applications running on mainframes, and mainframes remain a significant portion of the purchase of system management software.

"We expect the mainframe to be the comeback kid of 2007," said Julie Craig, Senior Analyst, Enterprise Management Associates. "New developments in distributed computing, including virtualization and service oriented architecture (SOA), are increasing the demand on mainframes and showing the benefit of automating application performance tuning to increase efficiency and reduce costly upgrades."

At SHARE, AQM Solutions will demonstrate its solutions for optimizing mainframe performance. TriTune(TM) 4.0 is a measurement product for analyzing applications and resources in a host environment, pinpointing delays and spotting optimization potentials. APC 4.5 for TriTune automates over 90 percent of the AQM process, enabling customers to prevent or defer expensive hardware or software upgrades. DSPC 1.5 is a performance analysis solution for conducting intense performance tuning on dynamic SQL workloads in z/OS-based DB2 environments.

AQM Solutions' expertise in pulling performance measurement and automation into a single package for application quality management is helping the company grow. In 2006, AQM Solutions expanded its product offerings, added new customers, and opened new solution centers. The debut of TriTune 4.0 provided the market with a comprehensive solution for automated Application Quality Management and a logical migration path for users of BMC's InTune product, on which it is based. AQM expanded its US headquarters in Boston in July 2006, and added to its customer base, which includes financial services, retail and insurance companies.

Moving forward, Osman Aykut and AQM Solutions envision four key trends in the mainframe industry for 2007:

* Automation. Automated AQM will become increasingly important especially where the mainframe supports WebSphere and DB2.

* Mainframe "brain drain." Companies will become hard pressed to find skilled staff to support mainframes, especially as veterans of the mainframe retire.

* "Green" focus. Mainframes are environment-friendly because energy consumption and resource costs are lower when using a mainframe than many severs.

* SOA. The mainframe is the perfect match for an overall service oriented architecture enterprise. New mainframes are SOA ready and companies are moving business processes to the mainframe.
