APV Crepaco's new pump.

APV Crepaco's New Pump

APV Crepaco Pumps Ltd assure us that they have set new hygiene standards with the introduction of their MicrobeClean positive rotary lobe pump.

All liquid contact areas are in AISI 316 grade stainless steel, with only FDA approved materials used for other wetted parts. A single block of solid stainless steel is machined to produce the rotor and shaft. All fixings, including rotor retaining nuts, threads and splines are outside the area of liquid contact. Substantial clearances between shaft and seals ensure thorough CIP fluids irrigation in this area. Internal machined corners are radiused and the casing profile sloped to further assist drainage.

Available in six sizes, the characteristics of these pumps should be discussed with the manufacturers at Fort Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex, tel: 0323 22804.
