APR Energy, a company involved in fast-track power solutions, has installed a new power plant in Egypt.

The facility is intended to support development of a large-scale industrial complex being constructed for the Egyptian Ethylene and Derivatives Company, a manufacturer and provider of value-creating plastics and rubber products.

The company's turnkey solution features three GE aero-derivative mobile gas turbines operating on clean-burning natural gas, together with the associated balance of plant. The company handled all design, installation and commissioning work for the plant, and will continue to manage all ongoing operation and maintenance. The facility will operate for a minimum of 12 months.
