APPOINTMENTS.

Saatchi & Saatchi Dubai has pro- moted Ion Cojocaru, Andrei Dani- luc and Raja Rizkallah to the posi- tion of creative directors.

Cojocaru and Daniluc will be charged with overseeing the Cadillac and Mon- delez business as well as overseeing work on other accounts. Rizkallah, who has been with the agency for five years and worked on clients such as P&G, the RTA and Cadbury will oversee key accounts such as the RTA, Novartis and Nakheel.

"It's a pleasure to promote Ion, Andrei and Raja to creative directors," said Richard Copping, executive creative di- rector of Saatchi & Saatchi Dubai. "We are a busy agency and their leadership will be greatly valued. I know they will thrive in their new roles and I look for- ward to watching their long and suc- cessful careers."

John Saunders has succeeded Dave Senay as public relations and market- ing agency FleishmanHillard's presi-dent and chief ex- ecutive officer.

Saunders, a na- tiveofDublin,will begin his new du- ties immediately. He was previouslypresident for FleishmanHillard's Eu- rope, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. He will reside in St. Louis, where the agency is headquartered.

"John Saunders emerged from a year- long leadership evaluation process and stood out in many respects," said Dale Adams, chairman and chief executive of- ficer of the DAS Group of Companies, a division of FleishmanHillard's parent company, Omnicom Group. "He is a proven leader with a global perspective. He is a consummate public relations professional. He has helped grow and develop people, offices and a region dur- ing challenging times. Senay steps down after 32 years with the company and more than nine yearsas president and chief executive officer. He joined FleishmanHillard in March 1984, and was appointed president and chiefexecutiveofficerinJuly2006.He will remain with the firm as a consultant and to support the leadership transition.

Integrated communications agency House of Comms has appointed Zah- raa Al-Saffar as digital client servicesdirector. With more than six years' experience in deliv- ering complex digi- tal marketing and communicationssolutions across the Gulf Cooperation Council, Al-Saffar has worked with many local and global brands, such as propertyfinder.ae,AbuDhabiTourism and Culture Authority, McLaren Auto- motive, Bentley Motors, I.M.G, Volvo Ocean Race and The Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship.

She will work with clients across the GCC in structuring and delivering cut- ting-edge digital marketing solutions, offering a truly integrated approach to communications.

Sarosh Sohail has joined independent advertising agency Yoko Media as gen- eral manager.

Prior to joining Yoko Media, Sohail served as chief operations officer for Fishbowl in Pakistan. He has also previ- ously worked as resident director for Interflow Communications and as a strategy and advertising consultant for Pepsi Snacks in Pakistan.
