APP ofthe WEEK.

WE'RE obviously heading towards a future where we can all wear little connected earpieces that translate foreign languages to our own in real time.

But until we get there, we have a new app from iTranslate called Converse, that will likely do away with the need for phrase books, digital or otherwise.

All you have to do is select the two languages you wish to translate between, hold down on the face of your phone and speak. Converse speaks back in the language of your choice.

It's not quite real time, but it should make conversations between people who do not share a common language possible. Free with in-app purchases.
