APOLLO X ASTRONAUT, LT. GENERAL THOMAS P. STAFFORD JOINS SPECTRUM'S TECHNICAL ADVISORY BOARD

 DALLAS, Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Spectrum Information Technologies, Inc. ("Spectrum") Manhasset, N.Y. (NASDAQ-NMS: SPCL), today announced that Lt. General Thomas P. Stafford USAF (Ret.), Commander of Apollo X, the first flight of the Lunar Module to the moon, has become a member of Spectrum's Technical Advisory Board.
 Peter Caserta, Spectrum's president and CEO, had the honor of supporting the Apollo X mission with his work on the Lunar Excursion Module. In response to the opportunity of working with Lt. General Stafford, Spectrum stated:

He flew a record six rendezvous in space and holds the all-time world speed record of 25,791.4 miles per hour. He has also flown over 127 different types of aircraft and helicopters and four different types of spacecraft. At Vice President Quayle's request, he completed the study, 'America at the Threshold,' which maps the next 30 years for the United States Manned Space Flight Program. His vision and personal direction started both the F-117A Stealth Fighter and the B-2 Bomber programs."
 General Stafford sits on nine boards of directors, including one American Exchange and six New York Stock Exchange companies.
