API and CEASA enter preferred customer/supplier agreement.

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Aerospace Products International Inc (API), a wholly-owned subsidiary of First Aviation Services Inc (PINKSHEETS: FAVS) and a supplier of distribution and supply chain services for the aviation industry, has announced that it has entered a preferred customer/preferred supplier agreement with CEA Honeywell Aircraft Wheels and Brakes Repair and Overhaul Co Ltd (CEASA) in China.

Under the three-year agreement API will provide CEASA with all supply chain services and logistics solutions, including procurement and inventory management. API will provide CEASA with warehousing, inventory planning, logistics and support services. CEASA will also use API for component management, accessory repair and overhaul services.

CEASA is a joint venture between Honeywell International Finance Company and China Eastern Airlines (CEA), specialising in maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft wheels, brakes and other related components, as well as carbon brake refurbishment.
